NCAA Hoops Top Ten List
1. Get on Clemson (-4) for tonight's game. UAB didn't beat one team in the RPI top 50 this season. They played one team in the top 25 all year long, Duke, and promptly lost by 21 points. They did beat VCU. But I already told you to jump all over USC tomorrow.
2. Don't touch the NIT--some teams have already packed it in for the season. There's always crazy results in the NIT because some teams are so devastated at not making the Big Dance that they don't compete in the NIT. If I was to touch one game tonight it would be OK State (-5) vs Harvard. What a crushing defeat for Harvard against Princeton in the Ivy League tournament Finals. That would be really hard to come back from.
3. Top Team #7 or higher has to be Washington. They are physical and talented. Danger!!
4. Top Team #6: St. Johns (as long as they can get by Gonzaga in Round 1). Wow--the 6's are putrid this season. Look for upsets early.
5. Top #5 Seed: Arizona. Tons of talent but poor coaching. If they can heat up, then they will be real dangerous. Please learn how to rebound asap.
6. Top #4 Seeds: Kentucky and Louisville. Love these squads and they always play well in the tourney.
7. Top #3 Team: Syracuse. I like UConn but feel as though they already played their best ball winning 5 games in 5 days in the Big East tourney, be wary. Cuse has the players to make a run.
8. Top #2 Team: I like them all except UNC. I'm from San Diego so I will go with the Aztecs. I just wish they could shoot the 3.
9. Top #1 Team with the best shot at winning the title: Ohio State. I hate the Big 10 at every sport but these fools can ball. Beware of Kentucky. It might be their toughest game.
10. Blastoff on Thursday with St. Pattys Day and the beginning of college hoops. Why can't college football do this? Beer Me Fool!
