Lakers vs Hawks
Just got back from the Lakers game tonight---wow, what a beat down (104-80). Great team victory. Kobe had 20 points and five assists in 26 minutes. Andrew Bynum had 15 boards and three block shots. The Lakers shot over 48% from the floor and 85% at the free throw line. On the other hand, the Hawks were absolutely putrid. The Hawks shot 36% and only scored 33 points in the first half. Besides Al Horford (6-9 FGs/6 Rebs), Atlanta looked completely lost on offense. They are not a good team and shoot way too many jump shots without working the ball inside the paint. They need a true center or at least somebody who can take the ball to the rim. Please avoid betting on them against anyone decent for right now. The Lakers needed this game more and it showed, they hit the glass hard and out-hustled the Hawks. It's so hard to tell which Laker team will show up on a consistent basis. The Lakers go to Portland tomorrow night and I am a little worried. The Lakers need Kobe to pass the ball and be more of a facilitator not just a scorer.
