NBA Thursday
1. Tonight's first game features the Heat (-3) at the Bulls with the Over/Under at 192. The Heat are playing their best basketball right now, they have won eleven of their last twelve games. They have been the NBA's best team since December began, but their one weakness has been on the road versus top teams. Seven of their last nine losses have come on the road, and they lost last month when they played the Bulls 99-96. The Bulls have lost once at home since mid-December and are 25-4 at home all season, including an impressive 109-99 victory over the Spurs in their last game. The Bulls play great defense, and the Heat lose when they struggle to score. Let's go with the Bulls!!
2. The Celtics (-5) travel to Denver to take on the Nuggets. Of course, this is the new look Nuggets that just traded away their two best players (Anthony & Billups) to the Knicks for a generous haul of talent and picks. The tough aspect will be working the new players into their offensive system, which should initially result in less points. Boston comes in winning three straight and are 16-9 on the road this season. The Celtics are very hard to figure out on the road, they have lost at Washington, Charlotte and Phoenix in the last month. The Over/Under is 204. Boston road games have gone under in 14 of the 25 games this season. Let's go Under!!
*Note--Clippers traded PG Baron Davis and a 1st round pick to Cleveland for PG Mo Williams, LAC Eric Bledsoe should benefit the most from the deal---pick him up
