NBA Today
1. The Warriors (-2) host the New Orleans Horntets tonight in Oakland. By now you should know my weakness for the Warriors at home. The Warriors have won five of their last seven games, losing only to Phoenix (twice) in that stretch. The Hornets have lost seven of their last nine games and have really struggled since losing center Emeka Okafor. Go with the Warriors!! Domination Station.
2. The Memphis Grizzlies (-3) host the Philly 76ers in a nice battle between two teams playing well. The Grizz have won eight of their last ten games, and have only lost twice (LAL, Bulls) at home since late December. They seem to be healthy with Gay and Randolph back at full strength. The 76ers have won four of their last five road games, but most against weaker teams. The 76ers are still only 9-19 on the road for the season. Memphis is 18-8 at home. Go with Memphis!! Grizz Roll.
3. If you need a third and final game, then check out the Suns (-4) and Jazz in Phoenix. The Jazz seem like a mess right now following Coach Sloan's retirement last week. The Jazz just lost at home last Friday by 12 points to these same Suns. The Jazz look a little lost on offense, and they will need to score a lot of points to win in Phoenix. The Suns have won six of their last eight games and should improve on that tonight. Go Suns!! Gotta love a 30 foot buzzer beater to beat the spread when the game is over--Suns Win.
